"***UPDATE*** I stopped in today (June 20) and picked up something new to me called a Dubai Brownie and wow! It's one of the best brownies ever! (By the way, it's not coconut that you see in it. It's actually kataifi shredded phyllo dough. A lot of people will think it's coconut since it resembles it. Just know that there's NO coconut in these. I don't like coconut and I love these brownies!) I hope Ashby's always carries them. They are super good!
I also picked up Tres Leches, Choco Flan, and Peanut Butter cookies. Everything is great!
Previous review: I always stop here when I'm in Ottumwa to buy their Tres Leches. Friday I was there and they had Chocoflan!! One of my favorites!
I've never seen Chocoflan here before and I hope that will be a regular item they carry!!
The Tres Leches was delicious, as usual, and the Chocoflan was absolutely delicious! I love their Mocha Tres Leches, too, but they didn't have any this time. I'll be in Ottumwa again later this month and I'll be stopping again, as usual! It's probably a good thing I don't live in Ottumwa because there's a couple places I'd be eating at all the time! LOL!"
